A gorgeous diamond pendant?from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This beautiful piece is crafted in?18kt yellow gold topped with sterling silver and features a stunning diamond cluster design. Dangling freely below the surmount is a circular?link adorned with 7 old Rose Cut diamonds which surround a larger Rose Cut diamond at?the center. The prong set?stones rest in an open-back setting, and form a wonderful?cluster design that catches the light?beautifully?with every turn. The bezel set design is surrounded?by a delicate?airline cutout, and hangs from a?complimentary diamond topper. An additional old Rose Cut diamond rests at the center of a?similar?design, providing a total?approximate carat weight of 1.20ctw for the entire piece. The pendant hangs from a simple gold bail at the top, perfect for adding to a favorite chain. An elegant?Victorian era piece, it would?look spectacular?for both everyday?wear and special occasions!
Measurements:?The pendant?hangs approximately 1 1/4" long (including the bail at the top). The circular diamond cluster link at the bottom has a 1/2" diameter and is approximately 1/8" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the pendant?is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the yellow gold and sterling?silver?setting, and all of the diamonds are intact. The bail is?secure and?in good working order. Due to the hand cut nature of old Rose Cut diamonds, the shape of the stones do not have perfect symmetry. This reflects the age and genuine appearance of antique diamonds
